Walk MS Chicago was last Sunday, April 30, and I can proudly report that we raised close to $25K! This was a huge accomplishment that was only made possible because of the kindness and generosity of you guys, so thank you.

This was our 3rd year in a row participating as “Team Oscar” and we had such a great time. I have to give it out to my fellow teammates (especially my mom!) who helped us become a top fundraising team, and my friends who rallied at this year’s Walk despite the rain and horrible weather. I truly thought I’d be walking alone with Bill, but so many of my amazing friends showed up to support me (just thinking about that brings tears to my eyes!!).

This year, we raised close to $25k which is the most we’ve ever done. To support the Walk this year, I tried to get creative with 3 fundraisers including a shopping event at Athleta, a bake sale at Salesforce and a raffle that included gift cards to some of the best restaurants in Chicago. If you participated in any or all, thank you for helping us exceed our fundraising goal and supporting this cause.

Walk MS is not only a event that brings together the MS community but is a reminder of how fortunate I am to not only have access to great doctors and a medicine that’s working, but a support system that’s constant and unwavering. So appreciative of all of you who came and donated, thank you.
