I’ve found a breakfast that the whole family will love – plus, it’s SO easy and carb free!
I know, I know.. you were expecting another dinner recipe but I decided to switch it up this week since I’ve gotten so many questions and inquiries about the banana pancakes I’ve been making on Instagram. (If you’re not following me yet, you should do so here!!).
Chloe (and my husband!) have a new favorite food and it’s so healthy and easy to make, I had to share!
Chloe has recently switched over to solid foods but she’s still doesn’t have teeth so I’m only giving her super soft items. So instead of only feeding her yogurts and scrambled eggs, I decided to try out this super easy, 4 ingredient recipe that – get this – is totally carb-free.
Yes, you can add flour to make them heartier and a bit thicker but our whole family is loving them as is (so much so that my husband is now begging for them every weekend!).
You can always spice them up too and add in chocolate chips or cocoa power, or even peanut butter but these 4 ingredients are the staples.
Carb Free Banana Pancakes
Ingredients
- 2 bananas
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions
Blend all ingredients together well. I use a hand mixer which helps make the process super easy.
Add batter to medium-low heat and wait for bubbles on top before flipping to the other side
Serve after 30 seconds or so on the second side.
This recipe makes about 10 pancakes. They’re very thin so it’s the perfect amount for 2 or 3 of you! Chloe and I typically share in the morning and I have a few left over for her mid-day snack.

Don’t bananas have carbs?

Yes! You’re correct. I meant “no grains” .. sorry for the confusion! These are definitely a low carb alternative to standard pancakes and all of the recipes I post aim to be low carb alternates.
