Baby’s 1st Halloween
WARNING: Cuteness overload is included in this post. Check out what Chloe and all of her friends were for Halloween!
Over the weekend, we celebrated our first Halloween with Chloe and a bunch of her friends and let me tell you, it was one of the most fun, crazy and heart-warming parties I’ve ever thrown.
Halloween is the perfect excuse to get decked out in the spookiest, silliest or down-right adorable costume, am I right? So, my girl friend and I decided to host a Halloween party perfect for our little ones and their first Halloween. I mean, what’s cuter than seeing little babes dressed up?! Nothing!
Party Deets
We had a bunch of little babes, along with their parents over to celebrate Halloween. We had a photo station (below) so everyone could capture their cuties in their costumes and commemorate the occasion.
On the menu
Baby pumpkin purée with cinnamon and nutmeg for our little pumpkinsApple cider donuts – or “spider” donutsPumpkin Cranberry and Chocolate Chip sconesAssortment of fruits – pineapple, berries and grape & my go-to edamame humus with veggies, chips and cured meats
What’s a festive party without seasonal cocktails?
For the adults, we had Naughty or Nice Cider made with apple cider, apple chunks, and cinnamon. You could add either whisky or champagne depending on your mood – yum!
Now to the main event… The Costumes
Hands down the best part was seeing all of the cuties in their costumes. From puppies to bumblebees to even a few princess, we had such an adorable assortment of characters. And luckily, it was close to 70 degrees and we could all celebrate outside.
My baby, Chloe, and fur-baby, Oscar, dressed up together as “What came first – the chicken or the egg?” They were too adorable and, of course, there were feathers EVERYWHERE. Totally worth it. Everyone has such a fun time!
So many other adorable costumes and lots of fun had by all!
Until next year… Happy Halloween!
