It’s almost time for the big day! It’s time to get prepared for Thanksgiving if you’re not already. From my favor holiday decor to the most adorable festive outfit, check out the 5 items that top my list for a fun and festive Thanksgiving. You won’t want to miss this one!

Thanksgiving is only a week away and it’s time to buckle down on planning for the main event. So much emphasis is placed on the menu – and subsequently I’ve have been focusing on a few healthy recipes which you can find here – but more than food goes into the day. Gotta think about the decor and festive items that really make it feel like the holiday!

Today I’m going to share my 5 must-haves for a festive Thanksgiving

1. A Welcoming Wreath

Oh, how I love a beautiful wreath! This one, I gotta say, tops my list because it’s not only festive and elegant but the monogram gives it a unique touch. A wreath is the first thing your guests see and to me, your entrance sets the mood for your home . I found this one on Etsy and I absolutely love it. There are a ton of varieties to chose from and you can customize the colors to meet your style. I chose a gold letter so the wreath could easily transition from Thanksgiving to Christmas and then all winter long! And best of all, it’ll last year after year – a solid investment. You can use promo code SEASON16 to get any wreath at Autumn Wren Designs for 10% off.

2. Festive Decor  like this “Thankful” Pumpkin

This white pumpkin is the epitome of festive elegance and perfect for an indoor or outdoor display. I love the white and gold together and think the calligraphy makes it look more elevated than your standard pumpkin. This piece comes in several sizes (this is the largest) and you can customize your pumpkin with any word you like. You can also use it year after year, so it’s a great buy too. You can get yours here just in time for Thanksgiving – plus, get 10% off your order with coupon code ‘PSTHANKYOU’! PS I think this could make for a unique  hostess gift too for the holiday!

3. An Adorable Outfit For the Little One in Your Life

This holiday outfit really speak for itself but how cute is it?! Ahh, beyond.

I wanted to get Chloé a festive outfit for her first Thanksgiving and found this “My 1st Thanksgiving” 3-piece outfit on Etsy. The leggings and onesie is so soft and comfortable for her and come with these adorable, festive headbands. The Southern 101 has perfect outfits for newborns through toddlers and has options for every holiday (yes, I’ve already ordered Chloé’s 1st Christmas pjs – they’re beyond adorable!!). Shop Thanksgiving pajamas here and Christmas pajamas here and get 15% off your order with coupon code: FACEBOOK2016.

4. Fun Appetizer Napkins

How awesome are these? I found these at HomeGoods and immediately scooped them up. You can never have too many cocktail napkins which are perfect for drinks and appetizers on any big day. You can shop similar ones here.

5. A Beautiful Tablescape Complete with Unique Touches

I am all about the tablescape on Thanksgiving (well, for any holiday for that matter!). It’s kind of embarrassing to admit, but it’s my favorite part of holiday set-up! I love pulling out our wedding china, glassware, and items we only see a few times a year, but still try to incorporate new designs and arrangements every holiday. It’s always easy to modify smaller touches like your tablecloth, floral arrangements, candles, and placecards.

My 2 favorite items from this year’s table…

“I’m thankful for…” cards

These “I’m thankful for...” cards are a perfect (not to mention adorable!) reminder to show gratitude this holiday season. You can have each guest fill one out and go around the table sharing with one another what you’re most thankful for. We’re starting this tradition at our table this year and I’m looking forward to making this a normal practice for Chloe. You can get yours here and enter promo code ‘PSTHANKYOU’ for 10%off your order (must spend $5+ to apply).

Festive (& Super Easy!!) Place Cards

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not very crafty but I do like to include festive place cards for each holiday dinner. These are SO easy to make and the fresh rosemary makes your table smell amazing. The white pumpkin also adds a festive touch that complements the centerpiece to add the overlook look of the table. I’m telling you, these are super simple – just need rosemary, a silver pen and some card-stock – and your guests will be impressed!

Don’t have time to make your own? These are an adorable option for Thanksgiving and I love these for Christmas as well! PaperCaseStudio offers such unique and elegant items for every occasion.

Well, that wraps up my 5 Thanksgiving Must-Haves. I hope they help you prep for the big day! If you need help with your menu, I‘ve included mine here too.

Special thanks to all the Etsy stores for graciously offering all my readers a discount on your merchandise.

Friends, all of these Etsy owners owners are super talented, creative and would appreciate your business if you love their items as much as I do!
